New Crime Prevention Officer Named

September 12, 2016

Bradley University has named a new Crime Prevention Officer. Officer Sean Savage has been been on the Bradley University Police Department force for eight months and has recently added Campus Crime Prevention duties to his responsibilities.

He will focus on community outreach including working with student and faculty organizations to raise awareness on how to prevent crime. The BUPD has a positive working relationship with the city and county police forces and Savage says he will continue working with local officers as well as with the State and Federal agencies for training.

Officer Savage was a Deputy Sheriff in Alabama for 6.5 years where he was also a member of SWAT, Dive Team, and Honor Guard. He was hired by BUPD in January.
