Peoria Resident Named Parent of the Year

Randy Largent was named Bradley University's Parent of the Year. Largent, a Peoria resident, is a single father of two girls, one of which is a senior at Bradley. Becca Largent nominated her dad for the Parent of the Year award saying "As I enter my final semester at Bradley, my dad has done nothing but encourage me and push me to expect the best from myself and the education I am receiving. Each year he astounds me by his overwhelming support and trust that he has in the university to teach me everything I need to know to succeed in my career ahead of me."

Randy is employed by Aramark and works as retail director of Bradley dining services. He received the award from the Parents Association Board during the recent family weekend celebration.
