Assistant Professor of Nursing Receives Local Honor

August 21, 2017

Scientist, nurse, mentor, veteran, teacher...Theresa Adelman-Mullally wears many hats.

Theresa is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Bradley University. As a nurse educator with the Department of Nursing, she is a role model and student advocate. She successfully blends both the art and science of nursing.

Theresa leads by example and provides opportunities for her students to make changes in their community. One example of this is the Service Learning project “Movember” where the students strive to improve Men’s Health during the month of November. This past April her students also implemented a Service Learning project to improve health outcomes during Alcohol Awareness Month.

For teaching by example and showing students that they can make a difference we reward Theresa with her place among the 25 Women in Leadership.
