Four Other Brothers to perform on April 9

Four Other Brothers, a jazz group featuring four Illinois trumpet professors, will perform at Bradley University’s Dingeldine Music Center on Saturday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Four Other Brothers is a unique group of four skilled jazz trumpet players performing the music of Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Duke Ellington, and much more. The Four Other Brothers are all professors at Illinois universities who perform with an exceptional three-piece rhythm section. Their show is an exciting mix of entertaining standards as well as historical period pieces featuring the styles of jazz icons of the past. The Four Other Brothers are:

This concert is the grand finale performance of Bradley’s first annual Trumpet Day, presented for area high school and college trumpet players.
