John Jost in his Last Concert with Bradley Community Chorus

The Bradley Community Chorus, directed by John Jost, will present a concert of famous opera choruses on Sunday, April 15, at 3 p.m. at the Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Ave. Admission is $5 for adults and free for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling 309.677.2650.

Jost will be assisted by Chee Hyeon Choi at the piano and Lee Wenger as the narrator. Featured choruses are drawn from operas of Berlioz, Bizet, Borodin, Gounod, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, and Wagner, and will include such favorites as the Habañera from Carmen and the Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore.

The Bradley Community Chorus is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and this is Dr. Jost’s last concert with the group before his retirement in May.
