Named Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications in September 2017, Renée Richardson is charged with building and maintaining the university's brand in collaboration with key stakeholders. To that end, she plans and directs communications, marketing and public relations efforts in keeping with Bradley's mission, vision and goals. She oversees all activities of the Office of Marketing and Communications — web development, social media, videography, photography, media relations, internal communications, community relations and print publications.
She reports directly to President Gary Roberts and serves on the university's Administrative Council.
Renée came to Bradley after serving as regional general manager for Equipment Depot in Chicago, where she led a 175-employee team. Before that, she worked for 17 years in a variety of roles at Caterpillar Inc. As Caterpillar's Global Marketing Services Department Manager from 2009-2015, she directed a team of more than 300 employees that provided marketing, branding, and eBusiness leadership for the company worldwide.
Renée earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
