Sakai is a secure environment for online teaching and learning.  Each Sakai course site is synchronized daily with the Registrar’s database (ACInquire) to manage course enrollments.  Sakai can be used for: 

  • Course information - Syllabus, course calendar and sharing contract information
  • Learning resources - documents, PowerPoint presentations, web sites and video links
  • Communication and collaboration - email, announcements, discussion forums, live chat, blogging, group projects, and advising scheduling
  • Evaluation - assignments, plagiarism detection, tests, quizzes, surveys, grade books, end-of-term course evaluations
