Federal Perkins Loan (discontinued)

The Federal Perkins Loan program was discontinued fall 2017

This federal loan was awarded to students who demonstrate significant need as determined by the FAFSA. At Bradley University the average Perkins loan is $1,200 per year. There is no repayment obligation while enrolled at least half time. The interest rate is fixed at 5%. Quarterly repayment begins nine months after graduation. Click here for more information.

The first time a student receives a Perkins Loan while at Bradley University, the student borrower will receive an email instructing them to complete mandatory Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note.

If a paper copy of the Master Promissory Note is preferred, please contact the Student Loan department at 309-677-3120 or by e-mail at loans@bradley.edu and a paper copy will be given to the student for completion during orientation.
