SUMMARY:Legacy Wall & Family Diversity Project's Authentic Selves Exhibit (Starts)
DESCRIPTION:Chicago’s Legacy Project’s Legacy Wall returns for the first time since it’s last visit to Bradley and Peoria in 2021. The 24-foot long 8-foot tall wall displays 125 distinct biographies with multimedia augmentation. The Diverse Families exhibit features 20 photos of trans-inclusive families. Local schools\, community groups\, and general public are welcome during the library’s public hours. The exhibit is made possible through Central Illinois Friends\, PFLAG-Peoria\, Youth Outlook\, Bradley University Archives and the Virginius H. Chase Special Collections Center\, Intercultural Awareness Committee\, Cullom-Davis Library\, Department of History\, Department of Women’s and Gender Studies\, and Department of Sociology\, Criminology\, and Social Work.
