He earned his DMD degree from the School of Dental Medicine at Southern Illinois University in Alton where, at the time, he was a member of first graduating class of the new dental school. Dr. Davis served as a dental resident at John Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis, MO in 1975-76 before relocating to Peoria, IL. Dr. Davis has served in various offices, including president, of the Peoria District Dental Society, as well as on the Access to Care Committee of the Illinois State Dental Society. Currently, Dr. Davis serves on the Peoria City/County Board of Health, as well as the finance committee. I am serving as part time faculty at the dental hygiene program at Illinois Central College. He grew up in a working-class neighborhood in Chicago, where he attended Lane Tech High School, and was the only member of his family to attend college. His wife, Susan and he met at Bradley. She was a Sigma Kappa at Bradley. They have three granddaughters, age 5 and twins age two that live in Peoria.
