Facilities and PPE

Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and monitoring systems were assessed for buildings to reopen. Facilities staff also evaluated the functionality of each building's HVAC system, and when feasible, increased the volume of outside air intake. 

  • By increasing the volume of outside air, previously-conditioned existing air within a building is minimized, lessening the risk of recirculating airborne coronavirus particles.
  • Our commercial-grade air handling systems are equipped with air filters. Although there is no evidence of droplets being able to travel the required distance within a building’s ductwork to be captured within a filter, some reduced exposure can reasonably be inferred based on the filter’s ability to remove particles.

PPE and COVID-19 Supply Considerations

All supplies related to COVID-19 are ordered and distributed through Facilities Management. 

  • Bradley has assigned a COVID-19 supply champion for each building/department on campus. This point person is responsible for storage, access to, and replenishment of PPE and coronavirus-related supplies for that office environment.
  • Employees needing PPE or coronavirus-related supplies (e.g., you forgot your mask at home) should contact your respective COVID-19 champion.
