Students, Faculty and Staff with a Positive Test Result

Students who test off campus or with a home-test and receive a positive result should immediately report those results to Health Services. Employees who receive a positive test should contact their supervisor to make appropriate arrangements to be away from campus. Employees who test positive for COVID-19 will follow the sick leave policies outlined on the Human Resources website.

Students

  • It’s essential you let Health Services know if you test positive for COVID-19 through a home test
  • Instructors will be notified of those who won't be able to attend class. Students should also let their instructors know and follow-up on course material missed. Faculty must keep students' COVID-19 status confidential.
  • Students who test positive for COVID-19 are allowed to return to their permanent residence for isolation.

Employees

  • If employees test positive they should report their positive status to their supervisor to make appropriate arrangements to be away from campus.
  • Employees should not return to on-campus work or visit campus until the isolation period has cleared and you are symptom free for 24 hours. Stay home to self-isolate and follow the CDC-recommended steps for care.
