Back to Campus Thank You

Dear Colleagues,

Today is the first official day of what I anticipate being a very unique and challenging academic year. I want to pause for a moment and say a most sincere thank you for the tremendous amount of work involved in getting us to this important day. I recognize and greatly appreciate everything you have done to help prepare Bradley for this moment in time.

I have long maintained that if you want to really understand an organization, watch it operate in a crisis. I have been able to watch you operate in one of the most difficult situations I’ve personally experienced, and I am genuinely inspired by the incredible work.

I don’t know what’s going to happen next, but now that I have seen you all in action, I’m confident we can navigate whatever the world throws at us.

Thank you for your commitment to our students, to each other and to Bradley University. I wish you all the very best in what is going to be a challenging semester, one that provides us with a unique opportunity to demonstrate who we are and what we’re capable of doing.

Sincerely,

Stephen Standifird

President Bradley University
