Hold Put on Your Ability to Register

To date, we do not have confirmation of your vaccination or an approved religious or medical exemption. A HEC hold has been placed on your ability to register for the 2022 terms. Similar notification was sent to you on Oct. 13. The hold will be removed when you have provided your vaccination information or receive exemption approval. The hold removal process may take up to 10 days.

If you have been vaccinated, but have not yet submitted your vaccination status, please do so through one of these processes:

Information on medical or religious exemptions can be found here. Those with medical or religious exemptions, per Illinois governor's executive order issued Aug. 26, 2021, must continue to be a part of the COVID-19 testing protocols for Spring 2022. These protocols include required weekly COVID-19 testing. To comply with weekly testing you may be required to test at an off-campus location or you may be charged a campus fee for testing. Details on Spring 2022 testing will be released as we near the start of the next semester.

Medical exemptions will be reviewed on the basis of certain recognized contraindications as identified by the CDC. Religious exemptions will be reviewed following the relevant legal standards, including the Illinois Health Care Right of Conscience Act (745 ILCS 70/1).

Students enrolled in our fully online or non-residential programs are exempt from the vaccination requirement. However, please note, individual programs may require you to undergo vaccination to meet their requirements. If your program requires you to be on campus at any time, the vaccine mandate applies to you a minimum of three days prior to your arrival.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR IMMEDIATE ACTION!
