Hollywood Semester Update

You recently received an email from Bradley University stating the university’s plans for addressing the coronavirus at this time.   The email stated in part:

  • The university will extend Spring Break by one week.
  • Classes will go online from March 30 through April 12. We will assess where things stand with COVID-19 daily and provide updates as new decisions are made.
  • All courses will be online beginning March 30.

The Hollywood Semester is a Bradley semester.   We will remain open and in session until the plan is evaluated in April.   That is subject to change if the CDC or the California Department of Health makes a different decision regarding the COVID-19 in Los Angeles. All faculty will be prepared to offer their courses online rather than in the Barham classroom.   They will be in contact with you on specific class information.

Internships are a required course for  the semester and you should contact your supervisor and  continue your internship position beginning the week of March 23.

We had no idea the coronavirus would erupt and disrupt your semester at the Hollywood Semester.    The HS faculty, staff and those at Bradley are working together to continue your great experience this semester in LA.
