Housing Update
Dear Students,
We want to clarify some important details about housing regarding Bradley’s move to online learning through April 12.
First of all, classes will still be in session Friday, March 13.
Residence Halls
- If you are able to return home to your permanent residence you must do so starting March 14.
- If you were previously approved for Spring Break housing and need to extend your stay you will need to reregister. Details still to come.
- We will be developing a process for those of you who need to retrieve personal belongings after March 14.
- If you are not able to return to your permanent residence following March 22 (the end of our originally schedule spring break) you will need to go through an approval process to remain on campus. Details still to come.
Student Apartment Complex, St. James Apartments and Singles
- If you are able to return home to your permanent residence we advise you do so starting March 14. If you have reason to stay or return prior to April 12, you must register your intent. We will share that process with you in the coming days.
Greek Houses
- If you are able to return home to your permanent residence we advise you do so starting March 14. If you have reason to stay or return prior to April 12, you must register your intent. We will share that process with you in the coming days.
- Your local housing corporation may make the decision to close your house and if that is the case, Bradley will support that decision.
Dining facilities will not be open March 14-March 22 as that is our regularly schedule spring break. They will be open limited hours March 23-April 12. We will communicate those hours once they are finalized.
Our hope is to reopen all residential locations by April 12 and return to face-to-face learning April 13, but we have not made that determination yet. We ask you to remain flexible and patient during this unprecedented situation.
Please know our students’ safety and health is always a top priority. Be sure to keep a close watch on your email as we continue to communicate with you any important decisions.
