May 2020 Commencement Update

We know this is not how you imagined your time at Bradley would end, and we wish the circumstances could allow us to celebrate as planned. No matter where you are, we hope you know the Bradley family is celebrating you and your phenomenal accomplishments. We may not be able to gather in person May 16, but that won’t stop us from celebrating!

For May and August graduates, we hope you’ll join us for an in-person ceremony Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Renaissance Coliseum on Bradley’s campus. Times and details are forthcoming. Please note: All plans are contingent upon government and health guidelines.

Here are a few more of our plans:

  • We’re sending all May 2020 grads a commencement toolkit that has everything you’ll need to celebrate virtually. It includes Instagram AR filters, Instagram GIF stickers, printable signs, Facebook frames, Zoom backgrounds and a Spotify playlist. There’s also a link to purchase printed yard signs.
  • We’ll release “The Last Lecture” video Friday, May 15. This is a standing tradition where graduates hear from a beloved Bradley professor, and this year’s speaker is marketing professor Brad Eskridge ’08 MBA ’10. Tune into Bradley’s Facebook page at 5:30 pm CDT. You won’t want to miss it!
  • Saturday, May 16, come back to Bradley’s Facebook page at noon CDT. President Roberts will officially confer degrees for the May 2020 grads.
  • We want to see your Class of 2020 social media posts! Make sure to use the hashtag #BradleyGrad and tag Bradley University.

Congratulations to all our 2020 graduates! You’re joining a family of more than 70,000 Bradley alumni. We are so proud of you!
