No Homework Days Reminder

Dear Colleagues:

I am writing to remind you of the University’s commitment to implement two no homework days this semester. With the cancelation of spring break this year, we are offering these no homework days so our students have an opportunity to recharge and reset.

Please do your best not to assign homework, tests, quizzes, papers or projects for our undergraduate students with a due date of Tuesday, March 2, or Wednesday, April 7.

Students are expected to attend class and learning should still occur, but we ask you not to assign homework, tests, quizzes, projects or papers to be due on those dates.

These no homework days don’t replace the traditional spring break, but we hope they will provide a small measure of relief for our students.

All questions or concerns should be directed to your college dean.

Sincerely,

Walter R. Zakahi, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
