Student Center Closure

Dear Campus,

Due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19, the food court and the adjacent dining area in the Michel Student Center will be temporarily closed for deep cleaning and disinfecting. Crews are working diligently to ensure the area is sanitized and properly cleaned. The facility will reopen as soon as crews are finished, which will hopefully be later today. In the meantime, the P.O.D. and other areas of the student center will remain open.

The employee in question worked in the food court Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8. We are performing contact tracing to determine if any other employees may be impacted. We encourage any customers who visited the food court during that time to review the CDC guidelines regarding exposure. If students exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms they should contact Health Services at 309-677-2700. If employees exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms they should contact their personal healthcare provider.

Our primary concern continues to be the health and safety of our employees and students. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Some media in Bradley University's current print, video and online materials was acquired before the COVID-19 pandemic. Media acquired after the pandemic began was done so in compliance with Bradley's COVID-19 safety protocols at the time. The ongoing safety of our faculty, staff and students is of the utmost concern during these unprecedented times.
