We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 landscape, including announcements by other schools in Illinois that are planning to begin their spring semesters online. At this point, Bradley University is planning to begin the spring term in person and on campus Jan. 19. January interim classes, which are set to begin Jan. 3, will meet as originally scheduled.
Vaccinations and boosters continue to matter and are among the best ways to protect yourself and your community. Our employee and student vaccination requirements for spring officially begin on January 3. We also encourage everyone to obtain a booster shot.
Before you return to campus in the new year, students, faculty, and staff should:
- Self-quarantine for 10-14 days
- Receive a negative COVID-19 test 48-72 hours prior
- Get a COVID-19 booster shot
- Monitor your health
- Follow campus COVID-19 guidelines
We are hopeful with a large majority of campus not returning until mid-January, we will be able to begin the spring semester as planned. If there are further announcements regarding campus plans, we will communicate those with you.
Have a happy and healthy holiday season!
