Request an Appearance
Bradley University’s mascot – Kaboom! is available for appearances. All funds support the talent, maintenance and mascot program. Appearances can be arranged up to 4 months in advance. Please see the below terms and conditions. All requests can be formally made by completing the below form in its entirety. You will then be contacted directly from Bradley University within 5 business days. Thank you for your interest and Go Braves!
The following terms & conditions apply to all appearances:
- Rate Per Appearance (maximum of 2 hours within a 20-mile radius of Bradley University): $150 for non-Bradley events / $100 for Bradley sanctioned events
- 100% payment is due at the time of booking the event (Cash / Credit Card / Checks made out to Bradley University)
- 50% of the payment is refundable if canceled more than 48 hours prior to the event
- Events that are canceled with less than 48 hours of notice are non-refundable
- Rate is negotiable for events outside of a 20-mile radius and/or if desired for more than 2 hours
- Should Kaboom! miss a scheduled appearance due to sickness or other extenuating circumstances, payment will be refunded in full. One make-up performance can be booked for a future event with a 50% off discount applied to the booking fee.
- All requests must be submitted at least two (2) weeks prior to the event
- Request does not guarantee an appearance as all appearances are contingent on the availability of the mascot and appropriateness of the request
- Incomplete requests will not be approved
- Bradley athletic and university events take precedent to off-campus events
- A private & lockable place for the mascot to change must be provided
- The mascot may not appear at outside events in inclement weather
- Bradley University reserves the right to cancel without penalty an appearance due to illness, personal emergency, schedule conflicts, etc.
- Bottled water must be provided
- Costume will not be loaned or rented
- Mascot image may be used for promotional materials for Bradley sanctioned events only - permission to use the mascot’s image must be cleared with Bradley Athletics at 309-677-2633
- All requests are subject to the approval of Bradley Athletics who reserves the right to refuse use for any reason
