Spotted Cow Creates Special Bradley Ice Cream

Frank Abdnour, owner of the Spotted Cow, will unveil a special limited edition flavor of ice cream to commemorate the bicentennial birthday. Mrs. Bradley's Birthday Blend is a vanilla ice cream with a red velvet ribbon swirled throughout. Several university student leaders and representatives, including President Roberts, Athletic Director Chris Reynolds, men's basketball coach Brian Wardle and women's softball coach Amy Hayes will be on hand for the official tasting and introduction of the new flavor.

Each year, on Founder’s Day, we honor Lydia Moss Bradley, who made Bradley University possible through her vision, wisdom, generosity and leadership. This very special tradition also provides us with the opportunity to celebrate the successful execution of her vision – that of creating an institution that would teach ".... its students the means of living an independent, industrious and useful life by the aid of a practical knowledge of the useful arts and sciences." We will recognize Bradley Centurions and our outstanding faculty and staff for their teaching, service and professional excellence. All are welcome.
