When is move-in?
The main move-in date for 2019 is Saturday, August 24th. Residence Halls will open at 8 a.m. Members of the fraternity and sorority community will be available to help you move in between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please clearly label every item with name, residence hall, and room number.

What time should I plan on leaving?
You are welcome to stay as you wish or leave when you are ready. Welcome Week activities for the students begin at 6 p.m. and continue throughout the evening. Welcome Week Schedule

Can students move in on a different day?
Yes, you may move in after Saturday; however, assistance will not be available. Additionally, activities begin on Saturday evening, and it is strongly recommended new students arrive on Saturday.

When do the dining halls open?

  • Geisert Hall Dining 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Chick-fil-A (Michel Student Center) 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

What fees are required on move-in day?
At the time of your building check-in, you will be required to pay the $40 Association of Residence Hall fee. Payment can either be made by cash or check (made out to the Association of Residence Halls) and should be paid prior to receiving your room key.

If I'm not unloading anything from my car, where do I park?
If a vehicle does not need to unload, it will be directed to a parking lot or parking deck. Once a vehicle has been unloaded, it will be asked to be moved to a parking deck.

What is the best way to get to campus?
We recommend you use the following address to arrive on campus: 1501 W. Bradley Avenue, Peoria IL. The recommended route to campus is approaching from the north. On I-74, exit University Street and proceed south. After Main Street, remain in the right-hand lane, which will be identified for move-in traffic only. Follow the barricades to Bradley Avenue where you will turn right (west) and continue until you reach staff who will direct you to your specific residence hall.

Do I need a parking permit if a vehicle will be parked overnight in a Bradley lot?
Vehicles are allowed to park overnight in either parking deck (Duryea or Main Street) without a permit until Wednesday's first day of class. Permits must be purchased and displayed prior to Wednesday's first day of class. Permits can be purchased online.

Can we bring more than one car to move in?
Yes. If both vehicles need to unload, they will be directed to the appropriate residence hall. If a vehicle does not need to unload, it will be directed to a parking lot or parking deck.

Is handicap parking available?
Yes. Handicap parking is available throughout campus. No parking permits are required on Saturday, but a valid handicap placard or license plates are required.

How do I obtain a parking permit?
Permits must be purchased and displayed prior to Wednesday's first day of class. Permits can be purchased online.

How do I obtain a student ID?
Student IDs are available from the Quick Card Office located within the Controller's Office on the first floor of Swords Hall. The office will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. After hours, temporary ID cards are available 24/7/365 from Central Communications located in Macmillan Hall. Where will the Peoria Charter bus pick-up and drop-off be located?
Peoria Charter bus pick-up and drop-off will be in front of the Renaissance Coliseum located at 1600 W. Main Street beginning Friday, August 23rd at 4 a.m. and continuing until Monday, August 26th at 4 a.m.
