Hi! My name is Chelsey George, and I am a senior Dietetics major from Atlanta, Illinois. I work at Proctor Hospital here in Peoria as a Diet Office Technician as well as a Lifestyle Wellness Coach. This past summer I worked as a National Association of College and University Food Service management intern. This has helped me gain a tremendous amount of leadership and communication skills. I have a passion for health, nutrition, and helping others, and the dietetic field encompasses all of that. I am affiliated with the Dietetic Student Association (currently as president), the National Society of Leadership and Success (as vice president), Up ‘til Dawn executive board, Kappa Delta Sorority, and Kappa Omicron Nu. I love being involved, and I love helping others discover the greatness of nutrition! My dream is to work in a hospital as a prenatal dietitian, a geriatric dietitian, or as a VA dietitian. I spend way too much time in the grocery store, and I love taking on different group fitness classes!

Megan Price

Hi, I’m Megan! I am currently a senior dietetics major, a member of Bradley’s cross-country and track teams, manager of Bodyworks, and work in the dietary department at OSF. Through my experiences as a collegiate athlete, I have experienced first-hand just how important it is to fuel for good performance and overall health. As a future RD, I hope to help other athletes and non-athletes alike learn to love what they eat, avoid restrictive dieting, and use food as a tool to reach their health and wellness goals. After graduation, I hope to obtain a dietetic internship in the counseling and/or clinical settings and one day work to help athletes find freedom from restrictive dieting and eating disorders!

In my free time I enjoy theatre and choir, staying active, watching Netflix, and spending time with friends and family. In the future, I hope to complete my Master's in Nutrition and become a Registered Dietitian for adolescents struggling with eating disorders.

Emily Witt

Hi, my name is Emily Witt, and I am a Senior Dietetics major from Orland Park, IL. I am the treasurer of Bradley’s Dietetic Student Association, the IT chair of BodyWorks, and an active member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a community service sorority. Bradley’s Academic Exploration Program helped me realize my passion for people and healthy living through a series of surveys and personal questionnaires. I currently work in food service under Registered Dietitians at my local hospital, Palos Community Hospital. Watching the Registered Dietitians interact with the patients of this hospital, I realized my interest in clinical dietetics. After graduation in May 2017, I plan to pursue my clinical nutrition passion in my Dietetic Internship to earn a Masters in Nutrition. I do not know which way the clinical world of Dietetics will take me, but I hope to explore my options in my Dietetic Internship. I am excited to be a counselor for BodyWorks, because I get to help other students just like me find a more nutritious and healthy lifestyle!
