Government Contracting Webinar

The Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center at Bradley is offering a training webinar for those considering government contracting. The content will enhance basic understanding of the procurement process and introduce resources to help determine when a customer is a good fit for your business. The webinar will also discuss a no-cost bid matching service, necessary vendor registrations (at all governmental levels: SAM, IPG, etc.) and tools such as small business certifications. Small Business Workshops

The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Bradley is offering a number of upcoming workshops that will help attendees learn important steps and tips for starting a business. Cybersecurity Webinar

Businesses have had cybersecurity threats for many years. However, the threat has increased significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Small businesses are particularly vulnerable since they often lack the knowledge and resources to ensure they are aligned with best practices in cybersecurity safety. During this webinar, Assistant Professor Jake Young, founder of the Foster College of Business Center for Cybersecurity, will instruct participants on how to minimize cyber threats. This webinar will also provide background information about the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification and introduce a free cybersecurity self-assessment tool.
