Inviting Visitors

International visitors here for business and professional purposes may be invited to Bradley University’s campus. The department inviting the visitor should give the potential visitor a letter of invitation detailing the purpose of their visit. The Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS) is not involved in the invitation of visitors to campus.

Visitors may come to campus through one of the following:

  • B-1 Tourist Visa for Business Purposes
  • WB or WT Tourist Visa Waiver
  • B-2 Tourist Visa
  • ESTA Visa Waiver

The visa type that is most appropriate depends on the purpose and activities of the visit. Those on visitor visas may not engage in work, internships, or collaborative research. See the chart below for details. If a J-1 or H-1B visa is more appropriate, see Hosting Scholars.
