Biography
Dr. Molly M. Gribb has served as the Dean for the Foster College of Business and Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology since January 2022.
Prior to joining Bradley, Dr. Gribb served as Dean of the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. There, she oversaw seven ABET-accredited engineering programs in addition to chemistry, mathematics, data science, cybersecurity, computer science, broad field science and sustainability and renewable energy systems. Prior to that appointment, she served as head of the civil and environmental engineering department at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and was a civil engineering professor at Boise State University.
Dr. Gribb has taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses during her career including groundwater hydrology, contaminant fate and transport, vadose zone hydrology, soil mechanics, senior design, and more. She is a recognized researcher who has published more than 100 papers and abstracts and has mentored many faculty, staff, undergraduate, and graduate students during her academic career.
Dr. Gribb is a registered professional engineer in Idaho and a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). She served on the WiSys Technology Foundation Advisory Council, the Wisconsin Internet of Things Council, and remains an active member of the American Society of Engineering Education Engineering Deans Council. She is a former ABET Academic Advisory Council member.
Dr. Gribb earned her doctorate in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, her masters in civil engineering, also from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and her bachelors degree in Environment, Textiles and Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She serves as the first combined Dean for Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology and the Foster College of Business. She is the first woman to serve in either role at Bradley.
