Tom Slotten

Biography

Tom Slotten is the administrative support for the Department of Art and Design and part-time costume staff for the Theater Department. He earned a B.G.S. degree from The University of Michigan and his M.F.A. (Costume Design) from the California Institute of the Arts. After working in educational theater for quite a few years in the Los Angeles area, he was part of the administrative support team for the College of EHS at Bradley, prior to joining the Department of Art and Design.

Tom and his husband (a fine artist) relocated to Peoria on the advice of an online friend and couldn’t be happier with the decision. They have felt welcomed and embraced by the thriving Peoria art community.
