Jae Chae

Biography

Chae received his M.F.A, in Product Design Interaction from Purdue University and his B.F.A, in Graphic Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Previously, he served 7 years teaching Industrial Design as an Invited Professor in Korea and later taught at Purdue University for 4 years.

Prior to his academic career, he worked as a lead designer for various organizations for over eight years. Being a transdisciplinary designer, Chae is interested in investigating and developing holistic ecosystems in design that results in measurable impact over time.
