Biography
Fisher Stolz is a sculptor exhibiting nationally, with public work located at the Hamilton Transit Center in New Jersey, the Museum of Science and Energy in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, in the Chicago Sculpture Exhibit, Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park, Sculptfusion in Michigan City, Indiana, the Urbana Park District, Donovan Sculpture Park in Peoria, and other locations.
Regional commissions include a public sculpture for the Peoria Riverfront Museum, a major outdoor sculpture for Caterpillar, a large interior work for the Peoria Civic Center, a series of exterior and interior bronze and stainless-steel reliefs for the Harrison School in Peoria, and life-size bronze figures for the campus of Bradley University and the Chillicothe Veterans Memorial.
Professor Fisher Stolz is the Department of Art and Design Chair at Bradley University. Fisher received his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia and studied and taught sculpture abroad in Cortona, Italy. He is a member of the International Sculpture Center, where he served on the ISC Board of Trustees, and is a member of Chicago Sculpture International, where he served as vice president. His home and studio are in Washington, Illinois.
