Licensures and Certifications

Shannon Sandoval is an Instructor in Residence in Communication and has been teaching at Bradley since 2016. She is a 1996 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Journalism (specializing in Broadcasting) and a 2021 graduate of Bradley University with a MA in English Literature & Composition.Before entering academia, Shannon worked as a journalist at the Pekin Daily Times, WMBD-TV in Peoria, KSBW-TV in Monterey, CA, and WEEK-TV in Peoria. She teaches classes on Public Speaking, Video Storytelling, and Basic Reporting.Outside of Bradley, Shannon is an assistant high school speech coach, a community volunteer, and a member of the Kiwanis Club.
