Biography

Chantell Marlow is an Instructor-in-Residence of User Experience Design for the Department of Interactive Media within the Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts at Bradley University. She teaches courses on interactive design, usability, digital storytelling, and prototyping, with an emphasis on User-Centered Design.

Chantell earned her B.A. in Graphic Design from Flagler College in 2014 and has worked in-house and as a consultant for B2B and B2C clients around the world. She has spent over a decade crafting multi-modal brand experiences, leading creative strategy, and teaching the latest design methodologies.

With a multidisciplinary design background, Chantell has focused on bringing brand stories to life using various mediums, from digital product interfaces to large-scale interactive trade show displays, brand identity designs, award-winning catalogs, and more. She has developed a passion for intersectional design that merges branding and user experience, considering the impact of place, technology, equity, and the human condition. Chantell is always exploring new ways to design products, spaces, and places to shape behavior and improve lives.

As a professional digital artist and designer, Chantell licenses her digital illustrations for commercial use in wall decor, stationery products, and packaging, reaching millions of customers online and in over 1000 national retailers including Target, Walmart, and Whole Foods. She has worked with high-profile clients such as Adobe, Coach, and Lyft. Her artwork has been published by Penguin Random House, featured in gallery exhibitions, and highlighted in digital and print publications worldwide.
