Steven Eberth

Biography
Dr. Steven Eberth is Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Bradley University. He is a certified dementia practitioner and certified falls prevention specialist. He has 25 years of experience as an occupational therapist working primarily with adults and older adults in skilled nursing, home care, and outpatient settings. He was a rehab director in for-profit and non-profit skilled nursing facilities, and was an OTA program director. His research goals are to change individual practice behavior, and as a result, improve organizational outcomes regarding safety and care. His current multi-year grant-funded project is the application of an evidence-based behavior change model to facilitate individual behavior change and improve organizational culture to prevent falls in skilled nursing.
