foreWarn Emergency Alert - Weather Closure

Due to winter weather conditions forecasted for the Peoria area, the Bradley University campus will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025, and all classes should move to remote learning at their already scheduled times. Campus offices should move to remote work. Most campus facilities will be closed tomorrow. Essential personnel should check with their supervisor for specific instructions. The following will be open on campus: Markin Center - regular operation hours Geisert Hall Dining - regular operation hours, but closing at 8 p.m. Student Center Dining - limited options may be available - will open at 9 a.m., closing at 8 p.m. All other dining operations will be closed. Library - hours will be posted at https://www.bradley.edu/academic/lib/ Men’s Basketball versus Southern Illinois will be played at the scheduled time of 6 p.m. at the Civic Center. Go Braves! Complying with GATA Grant Requirements

When a notice is issued by a State agency to make funds available through a grant program, you must first complete the pre-award requirements which is the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA). GATA provides uniform guidance for all State of Illinois grant programs. All grant applicants and grantees must comply with GATA grant requirements. Learn what those requirements are by attending our Pre-Award Training Session at no cost.

The Illinois Small Business Development (SBDC) at Bradley University, is offering this on-demand video training for you to review on your time.

Topics:

  • Pre-qualification on the GATA Grantee Portal (must be completed before an entity can submit a grant application to the State of Illinois)
  • Completion of two risk assessments (must be completed at any time before the issuance of a state award. A) Internal Controls Questionnaire (ICQ) and; B) Programmatic Risk Assessment (PRAQ)
  • Obtaining your FEIN
  • Registering your business with the State of Illinois
  • Registering with the Department of Revenue
  • Obtaining a DUNS number
  • Registering with SAM.gov
  • Registering with GATA

This training will provide detailed information on all of the steps required in the GATA process.
