The Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bradley has partnered with Grow with Google and is excited to provide this 3-part live webinar training series at no cost to participants. Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur, a legacy business that wants to grow your business, or you want to develop a stronger online presence — this webinar is for you.

During the Grow with Google series, you will learn:

    Series speaker:

    Greg Douglas has over 16 years of experience in marketing and advertising. This includes selling commercials on cable television with Comcast to print advertising with the Peoria Journal Star. In both of these positions, he learned about e-commerce and digital advertising when it was still in its infancy. Therefore, he has an inside perspective of online marketing. The digital marketing landscape has been ever-changing and evolving over the past 10-15 years. The COVID-19 pandemic has only made it even more important for a business to have an online presence and ability for their customers to order products, services, etc. from any device. Douglas is here to help.

    This session will teach you new ways to connect with your customers from online orders and deliveries to video consultations. Learning more about your customers, including how they act, how they think, and how they live, can make a big difference. We encourage you to consider their view of your products or service: necessity, nice-to-have, special treat? Once you have defined your audience(s), you will need to keep them in mind when moving forward with your site.

    • New ways to connect to your audience.
    • How will you measure success?

    LOOKING AHEAD

    • SESSION 3: Thursday, Dec. 16, 3:30 – 5 p.m., SEO, Google Analytics, and Optimization

    With support from Cares Act funding and the Gilmore Foundation, the Illinois SBDC at Bradley has launched programs to support local businesses in the implementation or improvement of their eCommerce strategies. These projects aim to provide constructive feedback with actionable items to build an online foundation for a business’ accessibility, viability, and growth. The Illinois SBDC offers no-cost and confidential assistance for all SBA-related grant programs.
