Markin Policies and Procedures

What you need to know when entering Markin

  • A Bradley ID is required for access passed the Control Desk. Individuals will not be granted access without a Bradley ID. This policy is applicable to any reason for entering Markin including but not limited to, use of fitness areas, Group Fitness Class attendance, Intramural Sports, Club Sports and Academic classes.
  • There are 14 sanitizer stations located throughout Markin. Please utilize these stations and clean your equipment following use.
  • Attire: In order to promote the health and safety of all participants, appropriate attire is required. Please see below for guidance.
    • Clothing must cover chest, back and torso.
    • Athletic, non-marking shoes, closed-toed shoes
    • No pants/shorts with rivets

What is our staff doing to keep things safe?

  • Additional staff will be working during every shift to:
    • Manage area capacities
    • Manage cleanliness of equipment and areas
    • Manage policies and procedures
  • Staff will clean all equipment following the closure of Markin every night.

Facility Hours

Markin Center will be closed March 9 - 16, during Spring Break. It will resume regular hours of operation on Sunday, March 17, 12 - 10 p.m.

Monday - Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 8 a.m.
11:00 a.m. - 1 p.m.
4:00 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Climbing Wall
Monday - Friday: 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Get Fit, Stay Fit challenges you to live an active, healthy life. It offers you rewards for working out, regardless of your fitness level.
