In 2023, Bradley University embarked on an exciting journey as the nation’s first university to establish a student-centric, digitally connected campus to meet the expectations of a generation of students who seek a technology-enhanced experience where they live and learn. Through the Digitally Connected Campus initiative, Bradley has built a unified digital ecosystem that fosters belonging and ensures every student has consistent, high-quality access to a Bradley education and community—supported by Pathify’s campus engagement platform, Apple’s leadership in higher education innovation, and T-Mobile’s 5G Advanced Network Solutions.

What You’ll Get:

Bradley University’s digital resources are designed to help students, faculty, and staff feel connected, supported, and ready to learn from wherever they are. With a 5G-enabled Apple iPad and an unlimited T-Mobile data plan offered at no additional cost, our community here at Bradley is always equipped with the tools they need to succeed.

A 5G-enabled iPad for use during the duration of your time at Bradley (including breaks!).
Starter kit containing a charging block, USB-C charging cord, and a protective Bluetooth keyboard case.

Unlimited 5G data plan, included for use as mobile hotspot.
Reliably accessible connectivity on Bradley’s campus, and to any public 5G or 4G LTE network offered by T-Mobile, including in more than 215 countries!

A pre-configured core set of apps, with additional Bradley-curated apps available for download in Self Service. You may also create or log in with your Apple ID to download any apps from the Apple App Store, like you would for any other device.

Your iPad has built-in accessibility features to help you connect, create, and do what you love in the ways that work best for you. Customize your iPad with features for vision, hearing, mobility, speech, and cognitive accessibility.

Be Connected

Be Connected is Bradley University’s digital campus hub, built on the Pathify app platform to bring the Bradley experience together in one place. From any internet-enabled device, users can quickly access the applications, resources, services, events, and updates that matter most, whether they’re on campus or on the go.

Be Connected serves as a guide through every stage of the student journey. From the day they commit to the University through graduation, each experience is tailored to help them navigate academics, discover opportunities, connect with campus life, and find support when they need it. With everything organized in one place, it’s easier to stay informed, engaged, and connected to the Bradley community.

Be Connected also supports the employees who make that experience possible. By simplifying access to the information and systems they rely on each day, the platform reduces administrative friction and helps them spend more time where it matters most: supporting students and delivering the premier student experience that defines Bradley.

All enrolled full time students, faculty, and student-facing staff are eligible to receive an iPad with 5G, as part of the Bradley University Digitally Connected Campus experience.

Yes. The device will connect cellularly on and off campus, subject to T-Mobile’s coverage. T-Mobile’s 5G network covers 325 million people across 1.9 million square miles – more than AT&T and Verizon combined. All data usage is included in the plan, regardless of location of the use of the device.

5G-Enabled mobile data hotspot

You may keep your university-provided Apple iPad as long as you are a full-time student at Bradley University. When you graduate (or if you leave Bradley), you are expected to return your iPad. You may not sell or change ownership of the iPad.

You are allowed to use your Apple ID to download and use personal apps and files on your iPad. Payment for paid apps (not provided by Bradley University) and subscription or fee-based services are the user’s responsibility.

Yes – using your own Apple ID is encouraged! An Apple ID , similar to BUnetID, is used to sign in to many important Apple services and applications.

Bradley University does not have the capability of viewing what users are doing on the iPad.

Bradley students, faculty, and staff gain access to Be Connected at the same time as other platforms, such as email and Canvas. Visit Be Connected and use your BUnetID and password to sign in.
Alternatively, download the Be Connected app in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
