Bradley Recognized as Best in Illinois

National publications continue to give Bradley high marks compared to other schools.

For student engagement, the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education 2020 marks us among the top 25 private universities nationally and the leading Illinois university for the fourth year in a row.

Additionally, U.S. News and World Report, in its 2020 listings of top schools in various categories, ranked Bradley the best regional university in Illinois and fourth best in the Midwest – up from sixth in the last rankings. We’ve been among the top 10 Midwest regional universities since 1995.

Other U.S. News ratings for Bradley as a regional university include:

  • Top 30 undergraduate engineering programs at schools not offering a doctorate (and the highest-ranked in the state)
  • Third-most innovative
  • Third-best for veterans (up from fifth, and the best in state)
  • Sixth-best value 

Princeton Review has Bradley on the list of Best 385 Colleges and the Brookings Institution places us 19th nationally for adding value to alumni earnings.

Bloomberg Businessweek recognizes Foster College of Business as the top private undergraduate business school in the state, among the Top 50 business schools nationally and in the top 10 for preparing students “for the jobs they want.”

We are No. 14 in the Midwest for “Best Bang for the Buck” and 50th of 606 nationally for master’s-level universities contributing to the public good, both from Washington Monthly.

Finally, the game design program is among the top 25 in the nation, ranked by Animation Career Review.
