Award-Winning Poet to Give Reading at Bradley

The award-winning poet and renowned author Kevin Prufer will visit Bradley University for a special poetry reading this month. Prufer has been long-listed for the Pulitzer Prize thanks to his impressive list of accolades. He has authored multiple books, including "The Art of Fiction" in 2021, "How He Loved Them" in 2019 and "Churches" in 2014. Prufer has won numerous awards, including several Pushcart Prizes, Best American Poetry selections, National Endowment for the Arts fellowships and Poetry Society of America awards.

His visit to campus Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. is part of the Visiting Writers Series sponsored by Bradley's English department and the Intellectual and Cultural Activities Committee. It will take place in Westlake Hall, room 116, and is free and open to the public.
