Virtual Commencement Will Occur Next Week
December 11, 2020
On Saturday, December 19, Bradley University will host two virtual commencement ceremonies to recognize its 2020 graduates. The first ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. and will recognize the May and August graduates. The second ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and will recognize the December graduates.
Similar to previous commencement ceremonies, these virtual ceremonies will feature remarks by Bradley's president, the provost, one graduating student and an alumni representative. Each student will have their name displayed on a commencement slide to symbolize what would normally consist of them crossing the stage, during which their name will be announced audibly. In addition, students were able to submit a photo and brief personal message to accompany their slide.
Visit the commencement website for details and the links to the ceremonies. All 2020 graduates will be invited to participate in a future in-person event once one is able to be hosted safely.
