Bradley's Game Design Program Ranks Top 10 in the World

March 4, 2020

For the 6th consecutive year, Bradley University is among the top undergraduate game design programs in the world, according to the Princeton Review's 11th annual ranking of the best schools to study game design. Bradley's program is ranked 8th and is again the highest-ranked school in Illinois.

Ethan Ham, Chairperson, Department of Interactive Media says, "This ranking recognizes our amazing students and the wonderful games they make. It also is an acknowledgment of all the hard work and dedication our faculty and staff have put into building a truly world-class game program for Bradley University."

The Princeton Review chose the schools based on data it collected in its 2019 survey of administrators at 150 institutions that offer game design courses, majors, or degree programs. Surveyed schools were in the U.S., Canada, and abroad.

The survey requested information in four areas: academics, faculty, technology, and career prospects. It covered everything from the schools' courses and facilities to their graduates’ starting salaries and professional achievements. In all, more than 40 data points were analyzed to tally the rankings. The Princeton Review posts information about its methodology for its game design school rankings here.
