Dead Man's Cell Phone

Bradley University presents, "Dead Man's Cell Phone" - the quirky, compassionate and boldly theatrical speculation on life, loss, technology, and the poetry of every day.

The show will run Thursday - Sunday, February 22-25 and March 1-4. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Meyer Jacobs Theatre located in the Hartmann Center on Bradley University's campus (1423 St. James Peoria, Illinois 61625).

More on the plot: The MacArthur "genius" award recipient, Sarah Ruhl, sets her stage in a quiet café. It is there that a cell phone rings endlessly, its owner unresponsive. Reactively, a woman at the next table takes matters into her own hands. Thus begins the hallucinatory adventure that fuels this compelling comedy about the place where life's mysteries and its trivialities intersect.
