New Board of Trustees Officers Approved

New officers for the Bradley University Board of Trustees were approved during the October meeting. Outgoing board chairman, Doug Stewart said the incoming officers have always been loyal supporters of Bradley as well as dedicated members of the board during his term as chairman.

“These officers are all seasoned board members and incredible leaders,” said Stewart. “They are all Bradley graduates who are fully prepared to meet the demands of a dynamic industry and keep Bradley on the positive trajectory we are on right now.”

Calvin Butler ’91 becomes chairman of the board. Butler currently serves as CEO of Baltimore Gas & Electric.

The Honorable James Shadid ’79 becomes vice chairman. Shadid is Chief United States District Judge for the Central District of Illinois in Peoria.

Kathleen Holst ’79 becomes secretary of the board. Holst is president of RCMS in Warrenville, Illinois.

Gary Anna '75 remains treasurer and assistant secretary. Anna is senior vice president of business affairs at Bradley.

Doug Stewart MBA '79, outgoing chairman, is the retired regional president of PNC Bank of Central Illinois. He will continue to serve on the board of trustees for the next two years.

The officers will be seated at the February 2018 meeting of the Board of Trustees.
