Bestselling Author to Visit Campus

New York Times bestselling author and award winning writer Matt de la Pena will visit Bradley University on February 9 at 7:30 p.m.He will read from his work in the Peplow Pavilion in the Hayden-Clark Alumni Center.  The reading is free and open to the public.  
As a Brooklyn, New York resident, de la Pena teaches creative writing and writes children's and young adult novels.  He travels the country visiting high schools and colleges to share his work. 
The event is sponsored in part by Bradley’s Intellectual and Cultural Activities Committee, Visiting Writers Series, English Department, Department of Teacher Education, and the Peoria Public Library.
