As part of Bradley University’s Music Scholarship Concert Series, Bradley Affiliate Guitar Instructor Michael W. Hull, along with guest artist Dr. Kyle Dzapo and the Bradley Guitar Ensemble, will present a recital on Sunday, March 4 at 3 p.m. in the Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Ave.
Proceeds from this series go to scholarships for Bradley music students. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for students.
The recital will feature the solo literature of Villa-Lobos, Bach and Dowland, among others. The Bradley Guitar Ensemble will perform works by Andrew York and David Crittenden, formerly of the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet. Additionally, Dr. Dzapo and Mr. Hull will premiere the Jeffrey Hoover work for flute and guitar entitled “En el sueno del Sol (In the Dream of the Sun)”.
