Betsy Hull named VP for Finance and Adminstration
Bradley University has announced Betsy Hull has accepted the role of Vice President for Finance and Administration for the university. Hull has dedicated more than two decades to various roles in higher education and non-profit finance. At Northern Illinois University she has served as the NIU Foundation Associate Controller, as a Director of Budget and Operations, Business and Finance Director for Information Technologies, and most recently Director of Strategic Initiatives and Innovative Practices.
During her time at NIU, Hull led strategic planning and management of university-wide programs and initiatives, while providing critical recommendations on financial initiatives. She played a pivotal role in NIU’s financial health by contributing to the ongoing development of a multi-year budget plan and strategies to address and reduce the university’s fiscal deficit.
Hull successfully completed the CPA exam and also received her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and her Master in Public Administration degree with a Nonprofit Leadership specialization from Northern Illinois University. She is passionate about the higher education sector and its mission, vision and values, and we are excited to bring her expertise to the Bradley campus.
Hull will begin her role Feb. 12; Bradley’s current Interim Chief Financial Officer, Jim Cofer, will assist with Hull’s transition.
