foreWarn Emergency Alert - Weather Closure

Due to winter weather conditions forecasted for the Peoria area, the Bradley University campus will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025, and all classes should move to remote learning at their already scheduled times. Campus offices should move to remote work. Most campus facilities will be closed tomorrow. Essential personnel should check with their supervisor for specific instructions. The following will be open on campus: Markin Center - regular operation hours Geisert Hall Dining - regular operation hours, but closing at 8 p.m. Student Center Dining - limited options may be available - will open at 9 a.m., closing at 8 p.m. All other dining operations will be closed. Library - hours will be posted at https://www.bradley.edu/academic/lib/ Men’s Basketball versus Southern Illinois will be played at the scheduled time of 6 p.m. at the Civic Center. Go Braves! Course Types

The following course types are available and should be used as follows:

  1. Classroom-delivered courses.
    1. For course sections with face-to-face instruction and interaction during specific, predetermined meeting times, students mostly set foot in a physical classroom space to receive instruction. 25% or less of the course will be distance-delivered.
  2. Arranged courses.
    1. For course sections with face-to-face instruction and interaction during meeting times that are scheduled to accommodate specific course requirements; students mostly set foot in a physical classroom space or other designated physical location to receive instruction.
  3. Hybrid-delivered courses.
    1. For course sections that include approximately 50% face-to-face instruction and interaction and approximately 50% course content delivered via distance delivery methods; students typically set foot in a physical classroom space for about 25%-75% class meetings to receive instruction.
  4. Distance-delivered courses.
    1. For course sections in which 75% or more of the course content is delivered via distance delivery methods with the instructor and students physically separated from one another; students rarely or never set foot in a shared physical classroom space to receive instruction.
  5. Distance-delivered programs.
    1. Entire certificate or degree programs of study in which 50% or more of the required courses may be taken as distance-delivered courses; students rarely or never set foot in a shared physical classroom space to receive instruction.
