Haley Krus joined the Bradley University Marketing and Communications team in September 2017 and serves as Assistant Director of Public Relations. Krus contributes to campus and community relations including internal campus communications, media relations, presidential speech writing, crisis communications, and more.
Ms. Krus received a B.A. in Public Relations from Bradley University, where she also studied Management and Leadership and graduated summa cum laude.
Currently, Krus is a member of the Board of Directors of Peoria Friendship House. Additionally, she is a campaign cabinet member for Heart of Illinois United Way, where she also serves as the vice chair of their young professionals group, GENeration United. She volunteers for numerous other community organizations and is working toward her M.A. in English at Bradley. Recently, she was awarded the Living Lydia's Legacy award, given to recognize Bradley alumni for the impact they're making on students and the University.
Prior to working at Bradley, Krus completed internships for various companies including NBC Olympics, the Chicago Automobile Trade Association, WCIC Radio - New Life Media, and Crossroads - Real Communication. She was also actively involved in the Bradley cheerleading team, Chi Omega fraternity, Campus Outreach ministry, and Order of the Omega honor society.
