Academic Coaching

Through academic coaching, staff can help students identify and address barriers to academic success. Academic coaching typically takes the form of one-on-one meetings with a professional staff member/academic advisor who will work with students to identify strategies and resources that can be used to be a more effective learner.

Peer Mentoring

Many students may prefer to work with a Peer Mentor or Student Aide. Peer Mentors & Student Aides are current students who have been at Bradley and successfully navigated the transition by adopting their own effective strategies. Peer Mentors & Student Aides can assist with challenges such as:

  • learning a variety of study and/or notetaking strategies,
  • utilizing time management and prioritization resources and techniques,
  • working through social, personal, and interpersonal transition challenges related to the college experience

When Peer Mentors/Student Aides are scheduled for office hours, if they are not in a meeting, they will be available for drop-in assistance.
