Introduces the role and importance of storytelling in sports contexts with the goal to identify strategic ways to use stories in sports publicity and promotion. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and consent of Department Chair.

The organizational communication major gives you skills to facilitate effective communication within any workplace.
As a Bradley organizational communication major, you learn how to analyze and change office communication culture in order to boost morale and productivity. Courses give you expertise in team and workplace communication, as well as leadership and decision-making processes. Outside the classroom, you can participate in student media organizations, the nationally recognized Bradley speech team and the student chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. You also can intern for local, regional and national companies.
Bradley’s organizational communication program successfully prepares you to enter the workforce or continue your education. In recent years, all organizational communication students found jobs within six months of graduation. They’re working at places such as Aerotek, Caterpillar, Inc., chambers of commerce and health care industry human resource divisions.
